A fabulous vintage late 50s or early 60s black lace wiggle cocktail party dress. Black lace over peach taffeta with a black velvet waist sash that has a short swag at the left hip. Fitted silhouette features boning in the bodice, darts in the peach lining from waist to hip, and a straight skirt. The straps are removable with buttons inside the bodice, and are not original but appear to be the same age as the dress. Back metal zipper works well. Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The velvet swag appears to have been reattached, but it looks fine. Inside on the lining, a faint mark like a water spill that you can't see unless you turn the dress inside out. The straps were added but are the same age as the dress and are removable with buttons inside the bodice. Dress has been in storage, will need airing or dry cleaning.

Waist across front and doubled: 28"

Length down the front from top of shoulder strap to hem: 44"
